Welcome to Social ID, a comprehensive network where individuals compile their online presence and all forms of contact onto one easily shareable and accessible page.
We collect the following types of data (collectively, referred to as “Data”):
Social ID uses phone numbers, emails or social media accounts to authenticate each user. Upon registration, you will receive a number known as your Social Identification, your (SID), that is unique to you. Sharing this number with others will make your Social ID of networks instantly accessible through the Social ID website and/or Social ID’ mobile applications. We may collect Personal Data from you such as your photo, name, location, age, occupation, about, interests, links that associate networks, websites, applications, companies and any other information you voluntarily add to your profile on the Social ID website or is generated by your use of Social ID.
If you provide us with feedback or contact us via email for support , we will collect your name, SID and email address as well as any other information included in the email, to respond to you effectively. For technical support, we may request additional information from you.
You can share your Social ID profile to any application, website or network. In doing so, you've made connecting to others and increasing engagement across your digital portfolio easier, more effective and complete.
Social ID uses Amazon Web Services and MongoDB for storing, processing and transferring Data, content and information. Amazon has multiple data centres located in different countries around the globe.
We will collect an ID that is unique to the mobile device (Device ID) on which you installed the Social ID application. For example, if you installed Social ID on your iPhone, we store your UDID (unique device identifier). We may create a hashed version of your device ID and use it to log you into your account. We may store your device ID and/or your hashed device ID with other information we collect about you such as your profile information, networks in your Social ID and messages to maintain backend organization and troubleshooting in the event of any issues.
You can turn cookies off in your web browser, but if you do, Social ID may not work correctly, and in some cases, you may not be able to log into Social ID at all.
We may create Anonymous Data records from Personal Data by excluding information (such as your name) that makes the data personally identifiable to you. We use this Anonymous Data to analyze request and usage patterns so that we may enhance our service. Social ID reserves the right to use Anonymous Data for any purpose and disclose Anonymous Data to third parties at its sole discretion.
You understand that when you use the Social ID website and app, as a default, your profile information defined above is public and other users of the Social ID website and app can see your Social ID page. Do not include private information on your profile that you do not want to be viewed publicly. You can choose to add all your networks but choose some to be public or private. By agreeing to this policy, you are giving consent to the disclosure of your profile information as described above.
You may change specific fields of your profile information by editing your profile on the Social ID platforms. You may request deletion of your Personal Data by us, but please note that we may be legally required to keep this information and not delete it (or to keep this information for a certain period, in which case we will comply with your deletion request only after we have fulfilled such requirements). When we delete any information, it will be deleted from the active database, but may remain in our archives.
